Prior to entering the legal costs industry, the first 23 years of Michael’s career was spent as a hydraulic applications engineer. This role took him to Sydney for seven years and then onto Melbourne for 16 years. Following this he was involved in the earthmoving, mining and agricultural fields, where his role took him to many parts of Australia, New Zealand, the United States of America and Germany.
Since Michael commenced employment with our affiliate firm, QICS in 2001, his expertise has focused on costs determinations. He prepares short form assessments and itemised bills, prepares costs reports for the Court, and has provided evidence in costs cases to the Courts. Michaels primary sources of job satisfaction are good client relationships, attention-to-detail and fairness.
When not immersed in the world of costing Michael loves flying. Since 1977 he has been a private pilot and holds multi-engine and instrument ratings. Michael has a long time association with his church, and enjoys the theatre, food, and traveling.
